Cluster 2 candidate capped as Miss SK sa Padagyaw 2013, bagged minor awards

DUMARAO, Capiz — "Nervous, fine and happy," with these words, Joefel Unato, 16, of Bgy. Codingle Dumarao, Capiz expressed her feelings when asked by the emcee before she was crowned as Miss Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) sa Padagyaw 2013 on August 3 at Dumarao Civic Center. The said event was a 3rd day part of the 5-day celebration of Dumarao festivity.
Unato, with powerful walk, glance and smile, also garnered 4 out of 8 minor awards as of Best in Popularity, Best in Production, Best in Talent and Best in Interview.
Meanwhile, Miss Photogenic and Best in Gown were brought in by Jeany She Arellano of Bgy. Janguslob Dumarao, Capiz, representing the cluster 4, while Jo-ann Porras of Bgy. Bungsuan Dumarao, Capiz representing cluster 6 was awarded with Best in Casual and Best in Swim Wear.
Krystel Joy Hilapad of cluster 1 was recognized as 2nd runner-up while Porras was declared as 1st runner-up.
Nonoy Rubrico, a native Dumaraonon, was the Chief Judge in the event. Rubrico said that all participants who belong to top 3 - which were Unato, Porras and Hilapad - were all deserving to win because he saw the sacrifices and perseverance that they possessed to make up the program.
"You [the contestants] are all deserving to win because I can see your sacrifices and perseverance para lang maging bahagi sg programa nga ini," Rubrico said.
The juncture was filled with 6 big judges, who were with wide background to their fields, including Atty. Luvim Amores, Lemuel Pastrana and Varvin Hope Simon "Mama Monyeka" Hiñola as the first half.
