Mentors reps whip awards on Mr. and Ms. CapSU-Dumarao 2013

DUMARAO, Capiz — The elegance and beauties of Capiz State University, Dumarao Campus ladies and hunks at Search for Mr. and Ms. CapSU-Dumarao had once again been rendered. With a pyro painted stage backdrops shaded with green and black cloth, themed with white attire on Production Number and lighted up by magnificent lights, the whole event marked as one of the unforgettable event among the school activities of the university.

The Dumarao Civic Center was filled by the localities of the town and students of the university, cheering their own bet that ramping on the floor where beauty and intelligence were being showcased on September 13, 2013. Students grouped according to their teams also raising placards for a moral support to their team mates representing their own flock on stage. You can see their unison, unison to enhance confidence of their representatives to grab the victory for the recognition of their department.

The “Friday the 13th” gave luck to the Mentors (Teacher Education Department), both in male and female category because they ousted the crown from the defending D' Virus (Doctors of Veterinary Medicine) for male and the Warriors (Criminology Department) in the latter.

The representative of the Mentors, Joefel Unato for female category, besides winning Ms. CapSU-Dumarao also procured Best in Talent, Most Photogenic, Best in Production, Best in Popularity and Best in Swimwear. Her partner, Marcelino Cusay, concluded as Mr. CapSU-Dumarao was also conferred with Best in Talent, Most Photogenic, Best in Popularity, and Best in Barong Attire.

Meanwhile, Jessica Faderon of the Greeners (Agriculture Department) won as 3rd Runner-Up, Laila Grace Castillejo of the D’ Virus sashed with 2nd Runner-Up and a minor award of Best in Interview while the 1st Runner-Up was pinned to Rhea Felongco (Warriors) who also obtained the Best in Filipiñana Attire.

Moreover, for the male category, Edgar Paul Harion of the D’ Virus won the 3rd Runner-Up; Jay Francisco of the Greeners clutched 2nd runner-up with a minor award of Best in Interview while Jesus Fresnillo, II of the Warriors gained the 1st Runner-Up with Best in Swimwear and Best in Production as his minor awards.

The top winners coming from the Mentors will represent the Dumarao campus on the upcoming CapSU Intramural Meet this November.
